We shot the video on the roof of Green Door Studio in Kennedy Town which turned out to be a great set. The lights from the Tsing Ma Bridge made a brilliant back drop and the grungy roof a la drainage pipes, brick tiles and concrete gave the shoot an industrial feel.
The shoot took about two and a half hours and I thought I would get bored with all the filming from different angles that Ewa had to take but it turned out to be an interesting evening. I liked watching Ewa do her work it made me realise what kind of attention to detail was involved in making a video.
The police paid us a visit half way through the shoot and they were nice enough to let us finish the last bit of filming with Malte's drums. Apparently you're not allowed to make any noise in a public place on a Sunday!
We'd also like to thank Jimbrowski and Gareth for lending us cables and gear from Green Door Studio and Zoe for taking photos of the shoot. We were all pretty exhausted by the end of the shoot but we had loads of fun. - Sue
